Yes, we are Married!!! As we marched into the next chapter of our lives. We want to share with you our wedding pictures. Tailor made Jacket
Hi there, it has been a very busy period for us. Besides the many deadlines at the workshop in Hong Kong, we are also getting very busy for our wedding. Yes, we are making the tuxedo for the groom! How exciting! Pictures will be uploaded soon.
Here is a little air-hostess-inspired jacket for a client. She is a great product and graphic designer who loves to wear casually most of the time. Yet, she mentioned of her lacking of a well tailor made clothing which would potentially work with both of her casual and formal outfits. We thought it could be nice to make her something cute but decent this time. The jacket is in soft navy blue cotton fabric with fine white pin stripe, accented with white faceted buttons and silver trim. For a casual work day – we suggest pairing it up with jean, tank top, shoulder bag and bracelets. For a semi formal day – we think it works great with a custom made white pencil skirt! We love it and we hope you love it too! Enjoy!
Lovely Custom Made Blouse for our Lovely Mei
I am sitting in the lounge at the Tokyo airport waiting for my flight back to San Francisco. While browsing through my laptop, I saw some really cute photos of my friend from Hong Kong, MeiMei. It was very delightful to see her wearing one of the 4 custom made blouses from Tailor Artista.
I have been begging her to show me the pictures of her in the blouses but not until about 4 months ago she finally posted up some good ones. I would never want to wait to share the pictures on this blog as everything made and taken by Mei are very stylish and cute (including DIY clothing, accessories and photograph). However, crazy workload and business trips have been pulling me away from sticking to this goal until now.
Mei’s expectation to her DIY products are very high, they are even higher than many products that you could find in the market. And that’s why I love Mei’s artwork so much. Yes both Mei and Tailor Artista love handmade products. I will share more of her products in this blog down the road.

Hi there, Happy Valentine’s day and Happy Year of Tiger! We wish everyone a very romantic and wonderful Valentine’s day and a very prosperous year of Tiger! It has been a while since our last update. Madam Shao (our in house tailor) has been very busy on custom made orders and Nata de Coco has been having lots of fun working on her interior architectural projects in Egypt. But we are very happy to be back to share with you two recent tailor made dresses. This satin dress is made in fine satin silk with front pleatings. A matching color satin belt is included to add varieties of different ways to wear this tailor made dress. This dress could be custom made in any color you like. Hi there! I was busy shooting photos of the tailor made blouses this afternoon. At around 5:15pm, I was exhausted and so I wrapped up everything as it was freezing and getting dark. Tailor Made Blouse and Skirt x Hello Kitty’s 35th Anniversary
Hi there! I have to admit that I am not truly a Hello Kitty Fan. But you know, who didn’t love Hello Kitty when they were a kid? Two weeks ago, I took a short trip to LA to visit and celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday and was brought by my sister to this Hello Kitty 35th anniversary Art Exhibit at the Royal T Cafe at Culver City. It was a blast! The show featured so many creations that Sanrio has produced for Hello Kitty over the years. Numerous artists were invited to create their versions of Hello Kitty Artwork only limited by their imagination. I am just happy that I was there. How lovely!
After I came back to San Francisco, I thought, “what if Tailor Artista put up an outfit of our tailor made blouse and pencil skirt with some lovely kitty accessories to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Hello Kitty, a very special character to all who grew up in the 70s, 80s and even 90s?” So here you are! We love anything lovely at Tailor Artista. There is surely no boundary of time and age in the LOVELY things we love! Custom Tailor Made Dress – A Fun Print Dress
Finally, November has come. Luckily in California, we never lack of sunshine. With a nice little leather jacket and a printed cotton dress, you are ready to go! At Tailor Artista, we love playing with fun graphics and simple cuts. So we love this fun-looking tailor made dress a lot! Tailor-Made Printed Satin Dress
We love printed Satin at Tailor Artista. We tailor-made this dress this year with one of our favorite printed satin found in limited edition. This dress could be made in any solid color we offer at Tailor Artista’s Satin Selection and it would still be gorgeously beautiful. We are trying to post more printed satin on our blog soon. This dress could be ordered in regular XS – XXL size (our size chart will be posted on our blog this month) or custom made to measure (we are working on the “how to measure yourself” instruction). The dress (on promotion) is USD $99 without lining or USD $119 with fine lining (recommended). Just a side note we never use polyester lining. All lining are either 100% cotton or fine cotton mix with rayon. There is an 10% up-charge for size 16 or above for extra cost of materia and labor.
